Manueline style

The  Manueline style, named after king D. Manuel I (1495-1520), is an early 16th century composite style of portuguese late Gothic, incorporating maritime elements and representations of the voyages of discovery of portuguese navigators, like Vasco da Gama and Pedro Alvares Cabral.
