Saint Catherine of Alexandria , also known Saint Catherine of the wheel .

and great martyr Saint Catherine .

Her feast day is 25 November , and she is patron saint of students ,

unmarried girls and apologist .

She was martyred round 305 in Alexandria .

Original statue is found in Museo Arte Antiga in Lisbon , Portugal .

It was made of Nottingham alabaster in 15th century .

My reproduction is made of dentist plaster mix with sand .

I hand paint all my saints trying to look old .

Behind this statue is a hook to hang it on the wall .
